About Me

 Hey there! My name is Anita! I'm 22, a recent college grad, and a proud traveler of the world.

I grew up on Oahu, Hawaii. Now, I know what you're thinking, that must have been like being on vacation everyday. Truth be told, I didn't even notice. All I can remember is causally going to the beach every weekend with my family and eating some strange food.

​

However, as I got older I started to realize the beauty that surrounded me, the lush, green mountains; the blue waters; the food-gosh, the food. This made me realize that the world is beautiful, and there's so much to discover.

​

It wasn't long before I moved to Oregon to start college. I gotta say, my desire to explore the mainland was not at an all time high. In fact, I could care less. My sights were set on Europe, Asia, South America-the big places. So, for the first couple of years I completely ignored the world around me. It wasn't until I was asked to go on my first rock climbing adventure that i realized you don't have to go far to see the world.

My interest in the Oregon mountains and landscape grew, and I spent a lot of my time road-tripping the state. From the Columbia River Gorge to Mt. Bachelor, I saw it all. However, my desire to see the world was overwhelming.

During my Junior year of college, I was lucky enough to live in Madrid, Spain for the summer. Through this experience, I was able to truly be free. I felt a sense of excitement and happiness that told me I needed to do this much more often.

So here I am.

I'm just a normal post-grad trying to figure out life; except with some traveling, food, and lifestyle mixed right in.
